Approved Curriculum for the Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science at the European University IMF

In the session held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the Council of Ministers approved the curriculum for the Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science at the European University IMF.

This Bachelor’s program will be implemented in the 2025-26 academic year at the Institute of Applied Technology of eUniv in a virtual learning format. The degree corresponds to level 6A of the Andorran Qualifications Framework (MAQ) and can be accessed from secondary education as well as through other complementary pathways.

The duration of the program, which has a workload of 180 European credits, is three full-time academic years divided into six semesters. However, the program can also be taken on a part-time basis, adjusting its duration accordingly.

Graduates will have the professional skills to work as data analysts in any sector related to information analysis and the production of results for decision-making. More specifically, they will be able to perform tasks in companies and organizations such as data analysis and report generation for business process evaluation, analysis and monitoring of key indicators, advising on the use of big data, and developing models and proposals for applying machine learning, among others.

Students in this Bachelor’s program will take courses on modeling and optimization, data structures, data types and sources, data visualization, machine learning, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, project management, and other related subjects.
