The European University IMF, through its associated center Laurentia University Institute, signs an academic cooperation agreement with the business group Comunicación Gestual, for the implementation of Continuing Education and University Extension studies

The agreement follows the line of collaborations that the eUniv has established to promote the training of professional groups at an international level
On October 15, 2024, the eUniv, through its associated center IUL, signed an academic cooperation agreement that establishes the bases of admission and implementation regime of Continuing Education and University Extension studies, as provided for in art. 44 of the RAG
The Vice-Rector for Continuing Education and University Extension of the eUniv, who also holds the direction of IUL, Dr. Luis G. Jiménez, and the general director of the entity Comunicación Gestual, Mr. Oscar Sánchez, signed the agreement in a formal ceremony held at the eUniv external office in Barcelona.
With this agreement, the eUniv continues with its policy of international alliances that allow the consolidation of the Andorran university brand, as well as the position of Sant Julià de Lòria as a university power. In this sense, the cooperation agreement with the entity Comunicación Gestual joins those already established with training centres in Spain.
“We continue with the firm will to continue building a brand, a country, and position Andorra as a reference in the university world, by promoting alliances that are productive for the identity of the country”, said Dr. Luis Jiménez. In the same way, Mr. Óscar Sánchez has assured that “the high level of an institution that ensures educational quality such as the Universidad Europea IMF, means that both organisations find a solid working link that advocates practical training adapted to the different labour needs of the current market”.
The business group Comunicación Gestual is a research and development entity specialising in the forensic analysis of sign language. Develops and teaches training processes aimed at specific occupational specialties and aimed at the objective analysis of involuntary gestural communication.
